ok it is either the controller that is bad or the circuit board in the indoor unit. the easiest way to tell would be to swap it with another one since you have multiple units. use a screwdriver to pry on the tap on the bottom and pull it off the wall, disconnect the small 2 wire plug on the back and swap it with another units controller. if it still does the same thing on another unit then the
